can you believe this…

my precious little, little lainee grace.

she fell asleep,

she told me,

“ma, teacher ‘blah blah blah i don’t know, lainee sleep!”

zinnia and

zinnie and lainee have waited for 5 months to start violin like their little and big sisters

this doesn’t surprise me.

she’s fallen

most everytime we get in the car.

first day of school we were late, like

go to the office cuz your late, late.

it was a good lesson for these very slow ladies!

today, we hustled and hustled

not late

but, we got out of the car,

started walking to their lines and OH!

i could see zinnies undies as she hiked up her back pack,

i quick took a peek at the tags on the dresses and they had on each others dresses!

Lainees was big, zinnies too small.

back to the car to switch and run to line.

lainee grace, asleep under her new violin, in the van on the way home from the violin shop

guess what?

zinnia (noodle queen) came home from school the first day and said,

“mom, NO more noodles for me!”

I had packed a little thermos of ramen noodles for her.

“what?  why? zinnia?”

“because EVERYBODY say, ‘what that????'”

well, there you go!

today I packed a ham sandwich.

the perfect fit!

these girls are just a hoot.

we really enjoy bedtime for them and hanging out with the older kids

we usually all laugh and giggle at the funny things they do and say.

this is a blessing

looks so cute...but OH MY is it SQUEAKY over at our place!!!!!!!

feeling thankful for those who pray for us,

who know the details and the issues.

who have listened and prayed.

thank you.

You have a beautiful family. It’s been fun reading back through your earlier posts and getting up to speed on your family’s story. Your writing is great. Very real and raw and, many times, hilarious. Life in a big family is nuts! I don’t know if you remember me (Chad Boss) and my wife (Lindy (Teerman) Boss) from high school, but we graduated the same year as you from Holland Christian. We also have seven kids and are doing our best to enjoy every crazy minute with them.

Anyway, just wanted to drop by and say hi. I read a series of blog posts recently on motherhood that I thought were really good. Here’s a link…

    God Bless.

P.S. Found your blog from the blurb in the HC newsletter. That’s weird because I have NEVER read that thing before.
