life is so busy,

and my heart has been so heavy over my youngest.

hard, hard.

we are in the thick of it.

worn out.

i cling to the fact that God has sovereignly placed her in our family.

He knows.

He cares.

I felt His grace today.

prayed with friends who have bio. kids who are so trying right now.

perspective.  Ah.

parenting can be down right EXHAUSTING!

don’t quit!

grace in my mom coming to be another set of hands for a couple days.

So thankful for my adoption support group,

faithful sojourners on this road called life.

thankful for Gabi, my help! so thankful…to the point of tears.

thankful for the love of lainee’s name sake, the starbucks, the hugs.

thankful for blogs, watching others do the hard thing, to step out in faith.

so brave,

viewing suffering, hunger, orphans etc. puts things in perspective.

I can loose sight of that,

so easily when I look around me.

Let us FIX our EYES on Jesus!!

Following Him, whatever the cost, knowing this is not all there is!

we await an eternal home with Him forever, in heaven.

Yes, Lainee and Zinnia are doing great in their school.  thank you.

such love tonight, on the couch,

one under each arm, watching Tangled, again.

my babies.

lovey lovey girls.

so thankful this friday night.

coming up…

a journey back 6 years ago this week, when younger Chris and Laura

travelled to China to bring home

Naomi Faith,

pictures too.

stay tuned.

PRESS ON! following HIM even to that hard place.

He is so faithful.

Praying for you! You have a way of motivating others in their parenting journeys–even if it’s two biological boys. It can be overwhelming meeting the completely different needs and trying to help them feel success and seeing Him. Thanks so much!! Your little one in the swimsuit is a mini you! So cute, as is your entire family!

I am praying for your sweet and tender heart, Laura. You are such a wonderful Momma and an inspiring woman of God. Also, praying for your baby girl, that her heart and mind would be Healed. Love to you! ~ Jo
