We made it back

reunited with the other 7 children

They were all anxious to hear about their new brother and what he’s like.

Mimi started to cry as I described saying goodbye to Luke, that Luke cried in his bed.  It was sweet.

thank you mom and dad!

I’m very happy that Chris will be the one traveling alone to bring Luke home

I enjoy traveling, but I enjoy traveling in the States, with my family most of all.

We are praying that we pass court this week

(I still cannot believe that we didn’t)

Girls are asking for blood

(does that sound horribly vampire like??)

I’m thankful for the perfect timing of our Ethiopia trip

we’ll be getting transfused early next week .

Thankful for your prayers

We need a new name for the blog

Love this update! Those Steelhead “Bass” are so rare… The trout variety are more common I think. :-)

Just started reading your blog recently. You have a beautiful family.
How about “Eight is Great”? Because, eight might not be enough.
We used to have four – now we have more. We just adopted a little boy and a little girl from Ethiopia in May. Can’t wait to go get them – our paper work was just submitted to embassy on Wednesday. Praying for you as you wait. The waiting is difficult. Our God is good – all the time.
