Sundaes

9 Dec
When the big 4 were little, we always did sundaes, on Sunday nights. The tradition is back! Chris and I went for a walk in the snow later last night. We both comments how we want to bring a little "fun" back into life. We can get so busy and serious with homework and around the house jobs that we forget to take time to have a little fun. It feels good.

chris and I played a game with the little 4 sunday afternoon. It's a really fun game for ages maybe 7 and up. Ticket to Ride... they loved it, me too!

chris and I played a game with the little 4 sunday afternoon. It’s a really fun game for ages maybe 7 and up. Ticket to Ride… they loved it, me too!  Life is so much less complicated now that Luke can understand anything we say with a rare, random vocabulary question.  It can actually give you a headache, those first months of language confusion.

Luke had a pretty good weekend, over all.  Gigi and I laughed.  Gigi’s gym clothes were stuck in our laundry shoot.  That sure was a good job for Luke, what a challenge and adventure.  Gigi thinks maybe we should get something stuck every weekend!

I’m a little concerned about Lainee and zinnia.  This week will be there longest stretch (almost 4 weeks) without a transfusion.  Lainee seems to be dragging and when she woke up she said, “mom, I need blood.”  I have a call into the hospital to have a doctor tell me what to do.  I may be bringing them in today to check hemo levels.  She could hardly crawl in the van and seemed so sleepy…

Happy Monday everyone!
